Went for staff retreat at Yishun Safra on Fri.. (After a mad rush, everything is a rush rush rUSH!) We went for Indoor Rifle Shooting... Not bad ah.. My results?? hahaha.. But it seems like my results gets worse after each try.. haha.. From 46 to 44 then 42 in the end.. Pathetic.. But it was good fun.. After that, we went to bowl.. Hmm.. Not bad.. My score is 122 or 112?? Eh.. cant remember la.. But i know it's not bad la.. (for my standard)

Anyway, this place brought back nice memories..

Fever for the first time this year if i m not wrong.. Hee hee.. I went to sch on sat to seal the boxes.. After which i was supposed to meet up with shirley.. I was feeling so weak, tired and aching all over.. I initially thot that it was the muscle ache from the training on thurs and the bowling on fri..

But whoa.. When i went to Taka in the afternoon, I was so cold.. I guess i was down with flu or watsoever, normally i would have some paracetamol with me lor.. who knows that when i needed it, i dun have it.. Haiz.. Went to guardian to get a pack and water.. Pop 2 pills and then still feeling cold.. I thot maybe go to Giordano to get a pullover... But wah!! Killer price ah!! ard 50 bucks!!! Wa!! Sha ren fang huo ah.. SO i went to Stadium and saw a Reebok jacket on sale.. So i rather pay 40 bucks for the jacket.. Then i got my swimming goggles too.. Need to go swimming le.. Hee hee..

Shirley took part in the "Ms Glamorous" competition by Kanebo.. To take part, she needs to pay $50 for the makeover and she will get an A4 sized photo and a mini card sized pic.. Then she can redeem it for Kanebo products.. Well, that's jus another marketing strategy la.. But at least she got a chance to win lor.. Unlike some "contestants" who errr.. Haha..

I was actually quite sick by then lor.. So i din really have the mood to shop ard.. We jus went to Far East to walk a bit, then we had our dinner.. I suddenly realised how little we know each other even though we were pri sch classmates.. I din know that our family is so similar.. After which, we went to Starbucks to chat.. (I really marvel at how i can tahan leh!!)

At 9plus, i told her that i cant tahan anymore.. So we went home.. I took a cab home, i guess i am already falling apart.. Couldn't walk any further..

I went home to a dark and empty house.. Cuz they were all at my sis's place.. Ahh.. SO sad.. I took 2 more pills then went to bed.. But i was so uncomfortable.. Irritating fever.. Though it's only 38.2 lor.. haiz..

Now i am coughing.. Shucks!!

Better get well before gg on the hols.. I wanna be in tip top condition when i go for my hols!!!

Argh.. This is ridiculous.. How come mtgs got to be at 7.15 am during hols?????? This is so stupid... Aren't mtgs supposed to be planned in the working week??? All because of a person who failed time mgt, ppl get into this kind of shit.. Not that i am attending the mtg.. But i jus find it unfair for those who had to come early...

*I came early too cuz i m in the same car with a person who's in the EARLY mtg..

On the request of my dear sis, i brought my niece to the Vivocity on wednesday.. Then she realises that BIG shopping centres might not be that good to shop.. HAhaa.. Cuz it's too BIG, so it's confusing for her.. Esp if she's quite directional idiot! Hahhaha..
She gave up after a well and decided that we should change to Habourfront which is smaller and more manageable.. Hee hee..
I met Mich there!! This gal is siaoz one.. She ran towards me and gave me a BIG hug.. Err.. In the middle of the shopping centre.. But i was darn happy to see her.. Cuz we were there talking abt our VN trip.. Both of us can't wait for it!! 4th of dec!! COme quickly!
After meeting her, i saw a familiar face when i was shopping.. It was a secondary school mate.. WOW.. He's presently studying in NP after NS.. Hmm.. Think he din change much.. Maybe can meet up with him sometime when i m free.. If i am ever free la.. Wonder if he have the contact of Xiaoyan.. I lost touch with her.. So sad...

Flowers From Ab and card from ex-students..

Received a bouquet of flowers from Ab.. She left it on my table when i was in class... I was so touched when i see the flowers.. And i received a card from my ex-students.. They drew the card so well.. So happy..

Met up with sin on my bd after school.. We din go to bishan park, instead we went to a famous zhu cao that sells crabs.. Hmm.. Not bad leh.. The food is good and we went to MOS after that.. And as wat i expected, he forgot it's my bd.. SO when i told him, he was so appologetic and he said he will remember next yr.. Well, i hope so.. Anyway, it's not that impt la..

I did something incredible on my bd.. I finally did wat i wanted to do last X'mas.. Though the results were not wat i wished, at least, i did my part.. And the future will be in the hands of the other party, I have already done my part..

Finally, thanks to shang, jo & jo, jj, judy and ice, thank you for standing by me and comforting me.. And esp to shang, for being the person who got disturbed by me for 2 days in a row... Thanks to JJ for affirming me.. ANd to both of u, thank you in advance for the treat hor.. Thanks to the jos for being a wonderful listener and the comfort.. hahaha..

It was a monthly gathering but this time round it's to celebrate my bdae la.. But hor, today no present, cuz shang said the mp3 player not arrive yet.. so dun have.. but nvm la.. will get it sooner or later wat.. no hurry..

We all forced JJ to pay for our meals cuz he jus got some money from SSC.. hee hee.. So in the end, he paid for the mudpies.. haha.. Poor fellow..

We went to walk ard HV.. There's a few pet shops there and so we went to take a look.. The dogs in there are so cute and adorable.. IF i can, i really wish to keep 1... BUt i know, i dun have the means to have a dog yet... So not now.. I even met a student there.. haha...

I am waiting for the Dec chalet with them.. Tink it will be super fun.. hee hee...

Ramblings of sleepy fellow...

Asked Sam and Jean to come back school today to pack the NE cupboard.. This is the good thing when u know the P6s well.. hee hee.. At least got ppl help me to pack...

3 boxes for the NE cupboard but guess wat!! For now, my personal stuff got 2 boxes le!!! And it's ard half of my table nia!!

Haha.. Personal stuff more than dept stuff.. OOpss... I am a rubbish collector!! Even these 2 fellows think so too... Sadded..

After that i brought them to PepperLunch for lunch.. I really must say i have 2 very good gals la.. Who think abt saving money for Ms Koh.. haha.. We went to take Neo-prints, oh my.. It has been ages since i have done that.. hee hee..

I then met up with Peipei cuz she needed to cut her fringe.. I bought Fan Wei Qi CD then we went home le..

I was kinda sleepy after 2 nites out.. Went with Irene to KTV on thurs and then went out with them yday.. Think i am nearly burnt out..

Tmr I will be mtg the Liang Shan at NYDC @ Holland V... Now i am wondering why the heck Judy will choose such a place??!! It's so far for me.. Sadded...

That Sin forgot that he has a wedding dinner to attend tmr!! So he had to meet me on Mon.. Duh.. He really got bad memory.. But nvm la, mon also ok.. Let's see if he can remember that it's my BD..

And as i was taking pics for my presents, i saw something that shouldn't be in the Puma plastic bag.. Hahaha.. I really take my hats off my darling fren.. It's either one of them who forgot to take 'that' out of the plastic bag.. They are a pair of cute sotongs.. Haha.. I was holding on to 'it' and laughing hysterically and my maid thot i siaoz le... haha..

Celebration for Nov Babies..

Despite having a super bzy week in sch, we managed to go out for a dinner.. This yr's celebration is one with lots of ups and "unexpected"...

Hee hee.. Cuz we were all so busy, no one really had a good idea of how and when to meet.. So poor Jo had to be the one coordinating it.. And what's more is that there are 3 Nov babies and she had to get the presents for all of us.. hee hee.. Thanks pal!

These were the highlights of the day!

1) We drove all the way into the "Ulu" land and found out that Matilda Bay had closed down!! OOps.. Imagine my shock! Haha... So we had to settle for a seafood restaurant there.. But luckily, food's quite good so din get slaughtered by the rest.. haha.. Heng ah..

2) Waited for CH to come while worrying that she might lose the way or simply decide to go home due to the "uluness" of the place..

3) KM works part-time in the restaurant!! Haha.. that's was so funny..When we teased KM, I tink i heardthe waiter saying that their polo T is also Nike one.. Jus that they have their logo printed on it!!?? DUH!! Is that meant to be a joke?? haha..

4) Went to White Tangerine to see that there's a change of owner! AHHH!! WHy or whY?? Then had to listen to the new owner and frenz singing.. Errr... I rather hear Joa or SW sing lor.. hee hee..

5) AP came and joined us at White Tangerine.. She found out that Jo jus wrote her bd greetings as how she sms.. She was quite cranky.. Think she got drunk just by seeing us.. haha..

6) KM were I/C of "giving out" the presents and cards.. Hee hee.. I went up to receive the "award" ahem.. present from him..

7) Extra present from my best pal... I initially thot that present were for XX.. haha.. Din realized it's for me.. But so happy..

8) CH wrapped her present so nicely that i can't bear to remove the wrapper till now..

I am very happy!! Not because of the present.. But the thought behind it.. The mere thought of them gg thru the trouble to go down to get the presents is more than enough to make me feel touched..

The company was just great, i am so happy that we all finally can meet up and there's a total of 8 of us sitting together and chatting.. Only downside is that Sha's not there ...

Bone in the gum..

Seems like these days, i always get hurt in my mouth.. Jus now while having dinner, i had a bone stuck in my gum at the back (left side again!! my ulcers jus recovered, which is on the left too!!) THen now, my gum hurts when i bite on my teeth.. Hopefully it doesn't get infected and cause me pain AGAIN lor.. BTW, the bone didn't come from fish, instead i tink it was from the sotong.. But i dun understand where the bone come from!! ARGH... Darn suay right??

Seems like all's fine

Ok.. so today seems to be a ok.. Nothing like a confrontation came out.. However, I dun know wat kinda feelings i am having now..

There are things that i know and yet, I can't say it.. Not to anyone else.. It's something which i can't bring myself to say it and i doubt i will ever tell them..

So I would have to keep it within me and the other party.. It's a burden and it's heavy.. Sometimes, I think it suffocates me.. If it really gonna bog me down, the only person that i can turn to will only be tung... I guess it's cuz he's not here and i find it easier to tell him things..

Someday, maybe this secret will be out but i cant imagine when they come to know abt it..

Anyway, we settled a few things and all is fine.. For now...

Discussion? Confrontation? Meeting?

Tmr i will be gg to settle some stuff.. I really dun know wat can come out from such discussions.. But i am sure, to me, i dun like such things.. It causes me stress and pain.. I find it very hard to control emotions when i am with them.. And they always makes me feel hurt......

我这几天一直在找能让我哭的地方，但好惨哦，我竟然找不到呢！

我最近发现，原来笑着哭是一件很可笑的事。而且，那似乎是疯子的行为。

Ulcer's gone..

WOohoo!! finally the ulcers are gone.. Wah.. record-breaking of 1 week lor.. These 2 ulcers caused me pain for the past week lor.. Ahh... Now it's a relief and i can eat better...

Pain..

There are 2 irritating mouth ulcers with me now.. They hurt and makes eating painful... It has been there since last wed.. So that's almost a week ago and it's not healing yet.. Shucks..

I put salt on it during the weekend and yday i bought some chinese medicine to apply.. Today, it still hurts badly and worse still, i tink my lips are cracking even though i drank 2 litres of water.. I can't talk and can't eat properly..

It definitely doesn't help when i am already feeling so down..

I was at home on sat and then when sis ask me to go shopping with her.. I agreed although i know that i got stuff to mark.. But then, on the other hand, I have lots of time this week cuz i will not be gg back to school at all.. Hee hee.. So let's go shopping.. I must say that i have control.. I din buy anything at all.. Though i saw a few skirts that i like but i tink, i can do without them la..

After that, i went to meet judy at bliss.. I cycled there.. Haha.. The benefits of bicycle - All Thanks to Ice!

On sun, ting was supposed to come and help me with my attendance.. but somehow, the intranet is down and she's unable to help me to key in the attendance!! Argh.. Irritated.. So in the end, we went tampines mall to shop.. Haha.. But this time, i bought ting her wallet (1 month early bd present) and a bd present for her mum.. So i spent over a hundred on them.. Hmmm..

I met up with sin at bishan.. He said he cant find the mitch albom's book.. Hmm.. so sad.. Thot i could have a book to read during the PSLE marking.. I wanted to try the acacia restaurant at bishan park but he dun want, so we chilled at cafe cartel.. I told him abt the dream of me stealing his car.. hahaha.. THink he's very tickled by it.. I was so guilty lor.. Haiz.. So he said, i dun have to steal his car, jus say it and he will lend me.. Ok ok.. THanks la.. I also dun know why i would have that dream lor!! haha.. Maybe i have this evil streak in me.. haha..

如果我的朋友能信任我，为什么你们就不能呢？难道在你们的眼中，我这么地不值得你们信任吗？我心受伤了...还是我们的相处方式，必须像在外界工作那样，每一件事都要证据，有凭证。那么我们讨论事情时，需要做会议记录吗？

可悲啊！也许我应该让你们看一看我这篇心情写照吧！但是，我也了解你们读了， 心理应该会很不舒服吧。

人与人之间，少了份信任，那么，还谈什么友情，亲情，爱情？信任是每一份感情最基本的要求。不是吗？

Me and I

I am wondering if i should cont in this job.. Ok ok.. Before u scream or scold me for thinking too much, well, that's me.. I am jus wondering if i am really cut out for this job.. I wanna further my studies, with my current workload, i dun think i will be able to take the stress.. So I jus ask AP, should i turn adjunct? Being an adjunct, there'll be time and less duties on my side.. But money is not.. (bonuses and benefits all gone) However, i can take up tuition jobs and earn the difference( I may earn even more). But DO I reallY want it to be this way?? I really dun know.. I get conflicting opinions.. Or maybe it's just the work environment i am in now.. I love my frenz in school.. I will miss them if i trsf lor.. But there might be a greener pastures on the other side (wat if the other side is not as green??)
Argh.. I hate choices... But it's better than no choice right??

Small Updates

It has been quite some time since i updated my blog.. well.. as usual, my life is filled with ups and downs.. I thot of a lot of things these days(well, i think a lot).. But i am really too lazy to blog it down.. Anyway, today, i was busy marking and marking.. Cuz fri is the compo exams and i need to rush out the compos and return it back to the students.. Hmm.. 2 stacks and 2 comprehensions today.. A feat woh.. Jus like wat sin said the other day, his life is now M&M (mtgs and markings) haha.. My life is also the same too..

I think my stomach is not tat well these days.. Hmm.. hope it's not that virus that's gg ard... I need to go to school.. Got no more time left with my students.. haiz..

YEAR END Holidays!!

Finally, i am able to travel to VN!! Yippee.. I tink this is the thing that's keeping me going in the daily hassle of school.. I am so bogged down by work that i thot i was gg into depression soon.. BUt anyway, i am working myself out of this..

Anyway, back to my holidays.. I will be gg to 2 places end of this year! Vietnam and HK!! Yeah! Not that i am rich la, but cuz i wanna go and visit some frenz of mine.. And anyway, cuz our main aim is to visit frenz, i don't think we will buy anything.. hahaha.. It's 2 budget tours.. WEEZZ..

Mich Lim and me will travel to HCM on the 4th, then we slowly make our way up to Hanoi to see tung, trang etc.. I'm thinking of gg back to Hoa Sua to see if Vinh is there.. And frenz at Youth Hotel, students from Hoa Sua who are working now.. So many ppl to meet up with.. Dun know if got enough time of now.. But if we don't go to HCM, it'll be so funny cuz we've been to VN for 3 times and we din even visit HCM before.. that's a joke lor.. hmm..

Then from the 14-17th of Dec, Ice and me will go to HK to visit Robert and he agreed to bring us ard HK.. Hee hee.. So nice.. And he even said that he will call the other 2 participants from AKF 7 years ago!! hee hee.. hmmm.. got catching up to do then.. He sent me this pic.. Saying that he will contact them to meet up with us when we are in HK.. haha.. 3 "must do" things that we will do when we are in HK,
1) Visit Robert ( the one wearing strips in the picture and his 2 "monsters" at home.. )
2) Visit his dojo (but we don't wanna train there leh.. though he said he wanna lend us gi and sparring equipment.. ahh.. we dun wan.. very diu lian de..)
3) Eat!!

tuesdays with Morrie Part 2

We do take a lot of things for granted.. And we do that consiously and sub consiously.. I asked myself, if one day, i will not be able to see and i become blind. Wat would become of me? Can i still be a teacher? Can i still see the beautiful sunset, the birds, the sky or the sea? Can i still experience the lit up faces of the children, my students, my family, my friends? If 1 day, i m crippled, will i be able to go to places where i want to go? Will i be able to go overseas and travel to the less travelled countries? If 1 day, i would just lose the use of any of the body parts that i always take for granted, what will happen to me? What will I do?? How will i react? Will i still be the strong positive person i m now?

I was reading the book on the bus these days.. However, i always stop before i reach my destination. Cuz i will always tear at some point in the book. Today, i saw the part till the journalist asked Morrie, what will he do if 1 day, he loses the use of his hands, and you could no longer talk, how would u communicate? Morrie replied that he will need the ppl to ask him yes and no qns.. Then he asked on silence, morrie's good fren, Maurie is now deaf, imagine morrie being unable to speak and maurie unable to hear. What would that be like?

Morrie's reply was "we will hold hands. And there'll be a lot of love passing between us. 35 yrs of friendship, u dun need speech or hearing to feel that." I asked myself, how many ppl's hand have i held? How many ppl's hearts have i touched? I won't have frenz of 35 yrs. Frenz are never counted in the no of yrs we know each other. It's the kind of vibes or whatever you call that, that makes us click and become frenz. I can know ppl from my primary school and yet, that person that i know may not even be as close as someone that i had known just for months!

I have held my mum's hand before she left me. The feeling of that never leaves my heart and will never be gone till the day i join her. However, what abt my family, my dad? How long have i not hold his hand? Since i was in primary school.. I tink.. That was a long time back.. Why is there a need to hold hands? I always thot holding hands as something very close and personal.. I dun hold hands with ppl.. not even close frenz.. I will feel very uncomfortable.. In fact, hand holding are for people who are very close to each other.. Parent and child, husband and wife, couples.. they share a bonding between each other.. That's why they hold hands, isn't it?? But do the couples in this present age know why they hold hands??

There's a particular time when Morrie went into class, he sat there without talking for a cool 15 mins.. Everyone in the class became very embarrassed by the deep silence. Some became agitated and think when is he gg to say something? some squirm and kept looking at the watches, some looked out of the window trying to be above it all.. The main topic he was on was abt the effect of silence on human relations. Y r we embarrassed by silence? wat comfort do we find in all the noise? If i were in a situation like this, i would be uncomfortable too.. BUt now, i tink, being silent with another party or a group is ok.. It's alright.. Let the unsaid feelings flow to the other party.. That sometimes, might be more effective than talking.. Next time i would just let the silence fall and see wat happens.. haha..

Tuesdays with Morrie

I am reading this book that i borrowed from sin.. Been wanting to borrow this book from him some time ago but kept forgetting the title.. Today i manage to get it from him.. Read the first chapters.. It's a good book.. And it's touching.. A lot of insights.. Anyway, the idea of a "living funeral" strucks me hard.. What's the point of telling the whole world that the dead person is such a wonderful person when that one lying in the coffin might never know how good he/she was? Shouldn't we tell the people that we love and cherish how wonderful they are?? It's always simple to pen my thoughts down rather than telling it to others.. It's always easier for me to express my concern n love to friends rather than my own family.. I always detest such character of mine.. But i decided to show my concern by actions.. By showing that i care for them.. Making my dad, sis, bro-in-law and my niece n nephew smile is a way of showing.. That's what i will do..

Wat abt keeping in contact with yr friends from long ago?? Are u free to meet up with them?? To me, friends are an important component in my life.. I treat everyone i meet as a friend unless they prove me otherwise.. Getting me to share with frenz is easy but once i dun trust u, i think i will be more reserved when i share.. But those who knows me, i guess u will love me as i am.. I am thankful and grateful for that.. If u want me to list down the friends that i cherished the most, i tink it'll be difficult.. But i will try listing the friends that's in my mind now.. Haha.. But if your name is not in here, please contact me, and i will tell u why... haha... BTW, names are not in order of preference....

TGIF.. But i not that happy la.. Cuz the HOLS ARE ENDING SOON!!! SObbie.. But on a positive note, the dec hols are coming soon too.. haha.. Attended some SEED courses during this hols and i see myself preparing for the teaching aids for next year during this yr end hols too amidst the moving of school and stuff.. Wonder how i will be able to cope.. Well.. chuan dao qiao tou zi ran zhi.. I hope..

4th Sep - Went for a course in the morning after the training on sun.. After the course, we went for the mass lecture.. Adjorn to Joan's place to teach her how to play mahjong with jo and km.. Haha.. 1 more kaki..

5th Sep - Went to Villa Bali to celebrate Jo's bd with AP, Joan, CH but SW actually pang seh us.. SO darn sad.. THat place is beautiful.. THough food is real ex la.. Per person ard 30 bucks.. But the ambience is worth it and the food's not too bad..

6th Sep - went back to school to set the papers.. Spent a noon there and after that, went to liyan's chalet.. It's so sweet of her.. She actually booked a chalet to celebrate her parents' 30th wedding anniversary..

7th Sep - Was in the school from 11am till 6pm to set the exam paper.. My eyes really nearly popped out after the staring at the com for 5-6 hrs.. Really Almost brain dead.. So when i went for training, my eyes became so dry that i kept closing it.. Anyway, luckily there were no sparring.. But Terence's basic training is so tough on the legs.. Ah.. The aftermath of not training enough...

8th Sep - Went for a course at chongfu pri in the morn.. So met up with sin after the course at sembawang shopping centre.. Went to the thai restaurant that he raved abt all the time.. haha.. Yummy yum.. It's real good.. and cheap.. Fun part, we went to Yishun Safra to bowl.. Wow.. There were a grp of 7 children from P1-P3 at the lane beside ours.. They started to talk to us.. Hee hee.. had a fun time talking and yakking away with them.. cuz they were soo... cute.. Most of them were from MGS, 1 from St nic and 1 boy from Ai tong.. All the good schools.. The kids were there to celebrate 1 of the gal's bd.. hee hee.. They cheered when we striked/spare, when my ball went into the drain, they laughed.. haha.. Fun time with them ard..they were all talking to me at the same time, well, that's usual of kids, my students does that too.. Hee hee.. So funny... If they stayed longer, i would have known their family history and all.. Cuz they were answered all the qns i asked.. So innocent.. Anyway, sin's so mean, i remembered him telling the boy that they dun wanna play with him le.. Cuz they all wanted to go swimming though the boy wanted to cont bowling.. I tink the boy was very happy to have us talking to him la.. Poor fellow, the thorn among the roses.. But too bad, i din take pic with them.. Forgot abt it.. so sad.. Anyway, i had a fun time bowling with sin la.. Both of us total score only hit 200 plus.. haha.. so u know how bad we are at bowling.. The strikes and spares are all fluke.. haha.. at least i remembered to take a pic with him with my "self-taking" skill.. not bad la.. Though his head is being cut off.. haha..

Best Teachers Day Gift..

This yr, i didn't really enjoy receiving presents from the students.. But anyway, funny thing is the best gift i received is not from a student.. Instead, it's from a colleague of mine - Abbey.. She sent me a sms this afternoon...
This is wat she said:

When i saw the msg, i was so touched by her..

Outram Centennial Dinner

Yday was the Outram Sec Centennial Dinner at Mandarin Hotel (as usual).. My table was occupied with 4 ladies who were students in Outram in 1960s... OOps.. ok.. Then came a cute guy that joined our table.. Hmm.. He graduated in 2000.. Me in 1997.. hee hee. He's my junior in Student Council... I couldn't remember him at all lor.. But he did la.. He said i look familiar... Anyway, he spotted my picture on the booklet too lor.. Wa.. Sharp eyes.. Alvin - Hey, u made it to the front cover again.. haha.. Me - Ya.. yaya.. Of all pictures of the council, they had to choose that ugliest one with me laughing so hysterically.. &*&Y%&) When my junior went out to get the Centennial Commemerative book, they were actually teasing me saying that maybe we can find another picture of me inside! EEks.. True enough, it was that same pic blew up to the whole page!! Duh.. Why that pic???!! I saw another 1 at the back with the coucil standing nicely together one.. Why dun choose that one?? Ok.. nvm.. Think they find that pic natural la.. Ok ok.. So i had to get that book lor.. Spent $60.. haha.. So for this stupid dinner, a total of $120 excl cab fare of 20 bucks.. hmm.. Fire in the HOLE!!

AKF is over..

Haiz.. AKF (Asia Karate Federation) Tournament is over.. I miss the tournament... During the tournament i could forget abt school and work.. I could concentrate on something that i really love - Karate.. Though i din take part in the events, i was running the table officials.. I was very busy but Happy.. THe senseis and referees were good to us.. And though it's cadet and junior categories, the participants fought real well.. I think as usual, we were still as gaga over the Japan Team.. haha.. As usual..
Chairman of AKF was so fierce to the participants, he simply scolded them over the mic to get them to move fast.. He even asked me to scold them,.. haha.. I wont dare lor.. Dun see the people junior junior ah.. Some of the guys from the Middle East were taller than me lor(at least 1 head)! Shihan Yamamura couldn't speak EL well as he's a Jap la.. So when he was planning out the team kumite(sparring), I had to guess his meaning lor.. Hee hee.. But luckily, with my cong ming cai zhi, i understood and could actually anticipate the next court to use.. So he was kinda of impressed.. Haha.. As long as i din diu xin jia po de lian jiu hao...
I thought the matches in the ring are good enoough.. But who knows, the best came on the last day after the prize giving.. As a guy from Kuwait couldn't find his bag, i think he blamed another Iran fellow for taking it.. So this 2 countries already so unhappy with each other in the beginning, a fight soon ensue... wow!! Wat a sight! Seeing the guys throwing chairs and hitting each other.. Thank goodness, i was with the Jap team at the gallery.. But as what i can see, none of the countries went forward to stop them which is the correct move, if other countries join in, wah.. the scene will be even more huo bao!
you peng zi yuan fang lai, bu yi le hu.. We met the participant from HK who joined the previous AKF held in singapore 7 years ago.. Haha.. Robert was a participant then and now he's the team manager.. And well, he's a Shihan now.. Hmm.. He recognised Ice first and he said she's so fierce.. Haha.. Well, if she is not, the team managers from the middle east will never come and register their players lor.. So we had a good catching up after the tournament.. We went out to KTV on sunday with the HK team coach.. Judy was too tired to join us.. Too bad.. U missed a good voice.. This is the first time i hear someone singing so well in cantonese (well, of course, he's a Hong Konger) But i tell u, his voice is splendid... The team coach's singing also not bad la but not as good as him.. I forced him to sing a lot of songs.. Haha.. The funny thing was when i sang hao xin fen shou with him.. I sang with a broken cantonese, he sang with a broken chinese.. haha.. He even sang a hokkien song with me! But i was laughing till my voice became so coarse.. hee hee.. Funny siah.. So if i go to HK in dec, i will surely get him to bring me around.. With a di tou she, the trip will always be fun! hee hee..

Driving, I drove!!

WOWOoo.. Thank Goodness i went to get my PDL today lor!! Heng ah.. Cuz i managed to go out onto the roads to drive today woh! Cool siah... Haha.. As expected, i si chia at least 10 times today! haha..
3 things i learnt abt myself today..
1) I am too kan cheong!! Cant drive well under stress.. muahaha..
2) I get so confused with the clutch, brake and acce.. These movements of changing gear have to come naturally soon.. If not, i'll be stoning on the road trying to figure out wat to do first?? CLutch, brake? Brake , Clutch? CHange gear?? ERRR???
3) I am a strong gal.. Haha.. I used so much strength for many things.. I released the hand brake so hard that the instructor asked me to use lesser strength.. I shifted the gear so hard that he nearly pengz.. I can't seem to push the accerl gently and the engine jus went vroom!!.. hee hee.. THe power of karate.. haha..

P.S.: I am supposed to be marking the compos now.. BUT.. WHY AREN'T I TOUCHING THEM?? cUZ I CANT BE BOTHERED TO!!! MUAHAHAHA.. Laziness seeped in.. I slept for 3 hrs after reaching home and i went off for driving after the nap.. SO the COMPOS WILL BE IN MY BAG UNTOUCHED AND I WILL BRING IT BACK TO SCHOOL TMR..

Normally i have trouble trying to figure out wat to write for the title.. haha.. So now i will jus leave it blank lor.. Ya.. as most of u who visit my blog realize, i have got a new look!! well, it's cuz of my dear niece, cass, she keeps complaining abt the layout of my blog.. So she offered to change it for me.. Ok la.. Jus to stop her from grumbling.. here's my new blog look!!

Anyway, i never felt that "productive" for this year, i was simply marking and marking for the past 2 days that i think i feel like puking le! haiz.. the amt of marking is totally overwhelming!!! YUCKs!

I see myself being busier next yr! Should I be honest and tell the boss tat i can't take so much stress?? I am not that super neither am i interested?? I am getting very scared(+stressed) just by thinking of the work i m in for next year...

Helen the Baby Fox

After the ND celebration in school, i went to cineleisure to watch this show with sin.. As usual, i was the one who suggest the show.. Initially i wanted to watch the lake house but then, this show seems like a more interesting show.. So off we went to see this.. Maybe right from the beginning, i knew that the fox will die.. So i am kinda sad and on few occasions, i was close to tears.. I just cant bear to see animals die lor.. Haiz..
With the love and patience the boy gave to the fox, the fox managed to call out and led a fulfilling "long" life.. Instead of jus a short unbearable few days of lifespan, the fox managed to survive for 3 weeks... To see the fox suffering in the end was sad.. When the fox died, i just couldn't control my tears anymore..
Well, i think this is the first time sin saw me cry in the movies.. haha.. He didn't really react much, he said something to me but i couldn't hear him cuz i was busy crying.. oops.. hee hee.. So with that crying, my nose just got more blocked.. haha..
After the show, we went to magic wok for dinner, luckily we managed to get seats fast and the food came fast too.. So we settled our dinner within an hour.. Hee hee... Cuz after the dinner, we went to SEE FIREWORKS!!!
Cool cool.. THe fireworks are so beautiful!!! But we only managed to see the high fireworks as we were just outside the raffles city.. Still, it's fantastic.. THe only thing is when sin said something abt taxpayers' money going up in smoke, i laughed at his statement.. But he REally is a mood spoiler lor!! Such nice fireworks and he said that! Haha..
I would want to watch the sat fireworks too.. I think it'll be very nice too!! Any takers???

YES!! THE LAST NE EVENT!!!

YIPPEE!! The laast... NE event is OVER!!! PHEW! Ya.. I am talking abt the National Day Celebration in the school.. I think SW and Liz did a GOOD JOB! Ppl say they organize it well and the program ran smoothly.. I am glad for them.. As for me, i am just happy that all 4 core events are over and now wat i m worried abt is the framework.. haiz.. But nevertheless, i am still glad..

Their sofa "settees" is so fragile!! The sentences i keep hearing from the waiter is, I'm sorry, the sofa can only take 2 ppl at the most.. I'm sorry, u can't stand on the sofa.. DUH!! Then pls go get a studier sofa la.. So many reservations.. Haiz..

A Story to share

P5 Camp 2006

Okie.. 2D1N camp is over.. This year, i wasn't that gung-ho, wonder if it's the age or the mentality.. haha.. Anyway, it was a good break from school.. Hee hee.. Being able to be in the suburbs and drinking coffee, having some snacks in the morning.. that's life.. ha haa.. Had some water bomb fight with the gals and i think that made them and myself happy.. I took the opportunity to play with them without any reservations.. that's nice.. but of course, i was all drenched from top to toe.. dripping wet.. haha.. The campfire could be better with more songs (provided with lyrics).. as usual, i was sabo-ed during the campfire.. and as usual, jaz and jo are tagged together! haha.. ANyway, when i went back to sch today, nora made e remark that the staff room were very quiet without me.. haha.. they said they din hear any laughter.. hmm.. So now, i am the entertainer?? hmmm.. Overall, the camp is a good break la.. But i cant imagine the markings!! ahh.. And now, i m having a itchy nose.. haiz.. P.S.: 1 funny thing happen yday.. 1 of the instructor called out to me last nite asking "hey, where are u gg?" So i answered her saying i m getting my powder from the lodge.. In my heart i was thinking why is she asking me like that?? Did she think i am a student?? hmmm.. THen when i came down, i saw her with another instructor and the other fellow said to her, "hey! she's a teacher la!!!" OOps.. hahaha.. she really thot i am a student!! haha.. i really found it so funny!! Maybe it's the nite la.. and she dun really have a good eyesight as i can see.. hahaha..

Monday Blues

I had such a busy weekend.. I was busy doing the teaching aid for p3 and i spent the whole sat afternoon pasting the words onto the rubric cube.. If seed is this way, i foresee myself doing these nonsenses next year..
After which, i gotta meet up with the UV LIGHTers at JP!! Haha.. OF all places right? So Darn FAR.. ANyway, Judy supposed to come my hse n we go together, then she changed her mind.. Sin is supposed to meet me at Sem.. THen he called me when i m on the way that he will be late and guess wat? He's at DB?? ARGH.. Tell me earlier la, i go there meet u, it's easier isn't it? he forever like that one leh.. Haiz.. NVM la.. I m used to all these changes.. Anyway, we went to SOUP restaurant.. Surprisingly, 9 of us actually didn't spend much there.. Cuz we only ordered 3 dishes and a soup.. A bit too little for all of us.. BUT i din eat much, i only had a few mouthfuls of rice.. almost half of my rice is still in the bowl.. Had a fun time chatting with them at Coffee Bean, though most of the time, it's mich doing the talking.. haha.. she's a real chatterbox.. She just have too many stories to share and her expressions r simply too animated.. so funny..

On sun, i was busy preparing the lesson ob's ppt.. Spent quite some time preparing the wayang for tmr... haiz.. Now i realize that i am not that prepared for tmr.. My prev ob wasn't that good, my RO pinpoints at my class mgt.. N the classes i am taking this year, i really don't know wat to say abt them la.. haiz.. Hopefully, tmr they will understand wat i say and do it!!! Pls pls pls..

AUG will be very fun as the AKF is coming.. I can't wait to see the competition though it's only Junior tournaments.. I think there'll be good matches to look out for.. CAn't wait to see the kawaii japanese!!! hee hee..

P.S.: Eh.. Today is a blue day for me, I can't seem to get rid of some problems that i have with someone close to me.. I really don't know wat to say and wat to do le.. Looks like i will just have to let nature take its course then.. haiz.. 左右为难

时间如剑飞逝

时间过得太快了！今天又是一个星期五。我这整个星期到底做了什么呢？似乎什么也没做呢！下个星期二就是我的observation了，我最讨厌的！真是一项无聊的事物。希望我别做错事就好了！我已经有两年不好的纪录了，我不希望今年又不理想了。
其实，我有许多想法想与别人分享，但我太累了，现在我只想睡觉！虽然头发还没干，但是，算了，我要去睡觉了！改天有空，有精神时，我在与各位分享吧！

-ve mode's back!

OOps.. I tink my negative mode is back.. I am getting negative and not very happy with the way things goes these days.. AGAIN! I m back to thinking that i m not a good worker and beginning to see the bad things in ppl... I m getting sick and tired of the endless work i m doing.. Isn't there a more efficient and effective way of doing things? ISn't ppl realizing that they are not as busy as they think they are?? Why is life so unfair?? Why are there ppl talking, chatting and laughing away while i am stuck doing work for 2 sessions??

An interesting analogy that only 3 ppl know wat i mean.. haha.. We are presently on a sampan trying to steer to a place where ppl think it's good... And the one pushing us want us to go as fast as the ppl in the speedboat.. And ppl in the cruise thinks that they are in the sampan..

PHEW!! RH day is over!! A big stone is off my chest now! I was very very stressed over this RH day.. Anyway, it's over.. P was happy.. (I think so..) She thanked me & jo on stage for running this event.. I din expect her to do that, if it were the ex-P, she won't thank the person i/c like that.. I was glad that at least work done were appreciated.. Trs came in and said that it was a job well done.. Good job, jas and jo!
I'm happy that they enjoyed themselves.. There are alot of things that i think could be better.. But with such a short time for preparation, i cant ask for too much la.. Next time, i tink i better plan for things fast.. If last min, i think i will super duper stressed.. I am too tired to type in anything here.. Anyway, i am glad that i have ppl helping me along the way.. My colleagues and frenz.. THey were there for me and they supported me all the way.. Thank you!

Fruitful Weekend

Saturday
NE show was simply great!!! I enjoyed myself thoroughly there.. The songs, fireworks were great! Though the gals were sinply quite "dead", i still enjoyed myself.. I think the trs enjoyed ourselves more than the gals.. haha.. But who cares??!! If they choose to be "dead", it's their prob!
My school's Army Liaison Personnel is fantastic! Sgt Lee.. i really must thank him.. he is such a nice chap! I will praise him here.. On the day of the briefing, he sent me to the bus stop (other sch's alp din do such a thing!). On the day itself, while my gals were outside the stadium waiting to enter, he asked the entertainers to come and keep my gals occupied. During the show, he disappeared for a while and came back with bottles of chilled water for the trs.. He made sure the students were safe during the whole show, to and fro the stadium..
But i think he's really too nice le.. 1 of the gals dropped her wallet in the bus and i asked him to hold on to it.. I din want him to bring down the wallet as it's that gal's responsibility to do so.. And it's horrible to get him to come down all the way on his off day just to return an irresponsible gal's wallet! I told her mum personally that she should go and collect it herself and she said ok.. But.. In the end, he came today to my sch to return the wallet!! Wat the heck!!! How could the mum be so argh!??!
Anyway, i sent a letter of commendation for him to CCAB, hopefully, they send the letter to MINDEF.

Sunday
I woke up at 12pm on sun.. I simply KOed.. Anyway, sin called me to ask if he could pick me up at 1.30.. So out i went at 1.30pm.. I changed my mind abt Little India as i think that place will be too crowded on sun.. So i decided to go Concourse to get the stuff.. Luckily i managed to get most of the stuff there.. Sin was a great help as he helped to carry and give me ideas on stuff to buy.. Thank you so much! After which, we went to Bugis to get the presents for the trs.. I only bought a hand held fan (but jo thinks i'm too cheap skate!! haha..) I didn't manage to buy him dinner to thank him as he needed to return the car to his dad by 6.15.. So maybe next time, but sin, u reall y should let me pay for a dinner.. You were free labour and chaffeur.. I really feel very bad leh..
Right after i got home, i started doing up the zero-point.. From the 2 bags of rubber bands, i did (with the help of my maid and niece) 11 zero-points.. WOW..

So my weekend were filled with work! haha.. All packed!!

Wat a life!

I am so busy with the events that i dun really have time to do any marking.. Why am i not working as wat my occupation is stated as? I feel that i am more than a tr.. Why is it so?? I am doing so much other work that i feel that i am a chapalang tr.. I jus hope that everything will run in order tmr and for next fri.. It's the BIG event and i wont want them to flop.. Not after so much effort being put in.. That's impt..
I am thankful for the ppl who are ard me.. they trust me and give me support.. That's very impt..
Esp to sin, thankful for him being there when i needed help.. I din expect him to offer to drive and be my free labour.. hee hee..

Would u pay for purchases in 5c coins? Do u feel embarrassed when u pay in 5c? I don't mean paying in $1 worth of 5c.. It's not even $2.. It's $9.. I wonder where this fellow get so many 5c.. Hello? I know u need to pay a charge if u change it in the bank.. But dumping it to another person like this is inconsiderate.. Even if it's legal tender, have u thought of what would the other party do with so many 5c?

The atrocities of war

Visited the Kranji War memorial and Bukit Chandu yday.. The thought of people sacrificing their lives for the peace of Singapore struck me hard.. When you see the graves of the soldiers who died in the war, some of the graves had no name, some bodies mixed up, "buried near this spot" etc.. Heros with names we would never know.. Heros with bodies never to be found... Every spot in Singapore is covered with blood of the once living person that either defended Singapore or lived here in this land and even the enemies who was fighting for their country.. They were all children of their parents.. Someone will be crying their hearts out when they die.. However, where war is concerned, lives have no more value.. Saddening, isn't it?

Is it really neccessary to go through war?
What's the point of losing so many lives for the sake of conquering countries, when in the end, you lie down in just a small plot of land, with simply a tombstone engraved with your name?

Ok.. To end the heart-wrenching topic, there's 1 interesting thing i found out abt Singapore River yday, do u know where is the start of Singapore River? hee hee.. Make a guess..

I passed!!

Hee hee... I passed my Basic Theory! Haha.. Not bad.. 1 time pass.. haha.. But in fact, if u count the times i did the trial test, I failed twice and passed once in the trial.. This is a 4th time i am attempting it.. haha..

Ouch...

I dragged myself to training today cuz i was so tired after the mind-mapping course today.. After a short nap in the evening, i woke up and decided that i must go for training today.. I must have self-discipline.. Told myself to do some work out before i get fatter.. Hee hee.. So training i went..
During the stretching, i then realized that the sunday training had an impact on my hemstring, it was so DARN Painful when i stretch... OUCH! I wasn't the only one, of course, shang and ZY who were beside me were having the same expression.. Haha.. So funny...
The training was ok.. Just that i haven't been back for a long time, i forgot the katas.. Haiz.. And ZY had to rub salt onto the wound by saying that the standard of my kata dropped!! OUCH!!!
When we were doing abs exercise, shang was beside me!!! That idiot had to say,"ah.. Jasmine, 你好圆啊！" He even said i look like “肉包子”...OUCH!! AHhh... sobbie!! So Sad!!! oK.. fine.. Humpf!! Dun fren u le!! 臭shang!!

Sand Castle Building

OUR SCHOOL'S CASTLES..

Sand Castle building is not as easy as u think.. Even with the tools, u need the skills to build it.. I tink our group was the slowest and didn't do a good job.. However, we still had fun.. A great time to bond, learn and sweat it out.. The funny thing was, when we were halfway through our building, we had to switch to another group's sand castle.. Wow.. The group whom got our sand castle was so darn sad.. haha.. But however, they did a good job with it and we manage to complete the second castle that landed on our lap.. So not that bad la..

A few learning points..
1) A good foundation is important in all aspects of life
2) As a TEAM, every member must have the common vision
3) The right consistency (of sand and water) is important, it differs in different moulds
4) As the situation changes, adaptability is the key
5) Even as u had to drop the project u did halfway, u simply had to move on

And the most important take away i felt was,
As u pack the sand into the mould, u need to apply pressure. But to remove the mould, u need to release the pressure with a few knocks. Then u will see the outcome. If u want someone to do a job, pressure is neccesary but without releasing the pressure from the person, the outcome might not be the one u desire.

Craft Day

Today is craft day.. Been doing craft since morning.. Today was the jewellery making class conducted in school.. SO i did a pair of earrings(most difficult one.. my fingers still hurting), 2 bracelets and a ring.. Not bad la.. But i tink this will be the 1st and last time doing it lor.. Din really like it.. Would prefer origami anytime.. Then in the noon, Shirley dear is coming over to do some paper craft with me.. hee hee.. This lady made me wait for her for at least an hour and half.. Ha ha.. I taught her how to do origami boxes.. And she provided me with paper for paper quilling for Tung's bdae card.. So nice.. hee hee.. So impressed with the card i made.. Will add the pics tmr.. haven take the pics yet.. Poor shirley had to take the train home which will take her more than an hour.. But i enjoyed myself today with her ard..

Outram Sec 100 yrs anniversary

Went back to Outram today with some of my school mates.. Well.. Met Mdm Chee, Ms You, Mr Ngiam, Mr Lee and some other trs there today.. Wow... So happy to see them and seeing Meilian with her daughter, it's like.. oH My!! I am so old le ah??!! Gulpz~~ Saw the canteen vendors too.. Still the same aunties and i couldn't believe it that they actually remember me!! haha.. SO cute.. Even the cleaner auntie also remembered us.. Haha.. Think they only know we are frm OUtram la.. When the canteen uncle asked i left sch for how many yrs, i actually lost count.. haha.. 9 Yrs.. i told him and he said, "wow.. so long ah??!! It seemed like yday.." hee hee.. Thanks alot.. They said i looked the same.. jus prettier now.. ERrr.. haha.. Compared to the sec sch day me,oh yes.. I grew prettier!! haha.. ~~Thick-Skinned~~
Anyway, i tink i blurz again today.. I asked Meilian for her hp no.. So when i msg her today, i told her to get her kakis for the outram centennial dinner in aug.. Then someone msg me and asked who i am.. Eh... Then this person called and asked who i am?? AH???!! Eh.. He said he's Raymond.. ERr.. At first i thot he's ML's husband.. so when i asked him if he knew her, he said no!! OMG!! haha.. I think i heard the hp no wrongly lor!! So i said sorry so many times to him.. I can't believe that i am such a big sotong.. So after puttin down the phone, i msg him again to apologize.. I am so pai seh.. But luckily he's nice la..
Actually this is not the first time i got someone's no wrong.. I once got AL's hp no wrong.. And when i called him, this guy answered the call.. He said he doesn't know me, but i refuse to believe him.. So i scolded him as i would scold Al for playing pranks with me!! Then after 10 mins of scolding him, it slowly dawned on me that i might have gotten the wrong no!!!And true enough, the big sotong got it wrong again.. I appologized profusely for scolding him!! I lost count of the no of times i said sorry.. But throughout the whole conversation, he din even raise his voice at me.. PHEW~~

Fortunately on this 2 occasions, both guys were kind enough not to scold me.. haha.. Cuz sometimes ppl will jus scold u or slam the phone down.. Maybe it's cuz my voice is nice?? hahaha.. ~~VOMIT AH~~~

Communication

Went out with AP to Compass Pt today to get some stuff.. PAssed her my 'hamburger' album (she calls the bigger album that la..) She said she wanted to get it be4 i go to bintan.. THis woman actually completed the 18yr old bride in a nite.. haha.. Bravo.. I do that too.. hee hee.. Anyway, she learnt something from the show.. Communication.. In a relationship, communication is very impt.. Whether u are in the right or wrong, shouldn't we communicate our feelings to the other party? It's just a word, communication(be it verbal or physical).. but u can actually write a book on it.. Cuz relationship between ppl is very funny, without communication, all else fails...
I agree.. But how many ppl can do that? How many ppl can actually say how they feel?
I know i cant, i am a person who will not really show my real feelings.. Even if i am super angry or sad, i will jus put up a front.. Maybe sometimes the feelings will jus seep thru.. but... that's still controlled within myself.. As i told AP today, i will not quarrel or scold someone in public or even privately.. I do not like others to see me lose control(i mean negative feelings.. laugh loudly, i dun care!!)

Opening at ai tong

Went for the sch's opening of heritage gallery and extension blk.. I must say that this sch is good.. with a very vibrant and rich culture.. The wushu display, gymnastic performance and the emcees were so good!!!
I din expect the event to include a 8 or 9 course chinese dinner in their hall.. Wow!! Splendid... THere were also performances during the dinner.. Cool right??
When we reached, we were shocked to realise that it's such a formal event and as we represent our P, we were placed with all the other Ps or VPs of other schools.. Ah... So stressful.. haha.. But anyway, i met my sec sch VP and teacher(who is a VP too) at the event.. I was so happy to see them!!

IT's an eye-opener for me today as i see how a primary school can stretch the potential of their students with good guidance and coaches... I wonder where my sch can go to.... Tink it'll be far too... Hopefully..

Headache

Woke up with a headache today and so i stayed at home.. Haiz.. Really regretted this decision.. Cuz i feel so bad to make jo and martha do so many things for me.. They are so busy le and yet they have to help me to give out stuff to my kids and announce stuff to the sch.. I feel so bad.. Think i will get them something.. Then later in the noon got ne mtg.. Dun know whether wanna go or not.. Maybe if i feel better, i will go ba.. Wanna know wat they will discuss abt today.. But if my headache still not ok, go also sian ah.. haiz.. Contradicting.. Anyway, i will take things as it comes..

Met AP for dinner jus now at HG.. Had a filling dinner and now i can't zzz.. Ha ha...

Yday was such a long day.. After sch, i rushed down to singapore philatalic museum for a talk.. My goodness, only 5 trs were there.. Ok.. fine.. The place is quite good.. It's interesting to know how stamps are being produced and how much stuff we can see from a small stamp..
After which, i met judy for dinner at city hall... We drank coffee at a small shop opp bugis junction and I tink i tasted the worst coffee yday.. It was so bland.. IT tasted so horrible!! Like coffee powder being used for a couple of time.. EEKS.. Anyway, i dun know wat came over us.. We decided to meet ice at boon lay.. haha.. So we had supper at boon lay and then went home.. actually i think we were kinda bo liao.. Go all the way down to have supper.. haha..

I am happy and blessed with frenz.. I am a person who will get touched easily.. WH called me once i asked her for some info instead of simply msging me.. Thank you very much.. And I am so glad that C remembered that i needed some info.. THough he din reply on mon.. He called me yday to offer his help.. And he has been a great help.. As usual..

I think i am over reacting.. I am too pissed at that moment to be thinking.. Haiz.. I think if all things compound together, it makes matters worse.. If the incidents happen separately on different occasions, i will jus laugh it off.. It is cuz all the incidents happen over a span of a short time that cuz me to snap.. oh my.. Wat happen to the "magnimous" Jasmine who can take jokes? Gone??
I dun like being angry.. I want everything to go back to normal.. But can it?? I wonder..

Why is it so difficult for me to go VN?? WHy?? Yday mich told me her P refuses to sign the leave form and said that her decision is final.. No go for mich.. And as for me, i get different comments from ppl.. Some say go, some say dun go.. I asked ICe if she's keen to go with me but she has yet to reply..
But even if ICe's ok, i am now wondering if i should push the limits and ask my P for permission.. From the surface, she might be unwilling to let me go but will still let me go la.. But i am worried that i might cause trouble for her.. If I go and then she will have to write report or answer to higher authority, then i dun wanna go le.. Dun wanna cause trouble for anyone.. I don't like that..

CAn'T go Vietnam agaiN?

Oh my! I am so sad.. Jus heard from the office that my P didn't approve my leave to go to VN.. She asked how come i have to go to an AVIAN FLU country.. I am so sad.. Seems like i got to go to her personally and request for her permission.. I guess she will give me a long talk on it.. IF she is free la.. Or she will jus refuse flat on my face.. HOW HOW HOW?? if i am not in this line, who cares where i go?? I understand the situation and i am willing to quarantine myself if needed... I really wanna go.. Why cant nobody understand??? WHy??

Ping's doggie just pass away..
The last time I saw her, i knew something was wrong.. She was very listless and she isn't as active as she was before.. Then i saw the lump at her stomach, i told ping and she said she will bring her to the vet the next day.. And today, ping told me she's dead..
I am so sad.. No longer can i hear the barks and cries of her.. No longer can i pat her and let her snuggle in my arms.. They always say i pamper her too much and that's why she will cry if i don't carry her immediately when i enter the house.. But i Can no longer hear her or touch her...

Inspirational Talk

Today was Feast Day cum Music Day. There was a drum performance and i loved it! The music were loud but uplifting! At least i didn't fall asleep! I even got a chance to go on stage to try out the drums.. COOL!! Haha.. THis is the first time! Anyway, I was hyper today.. I think it's cuz i am happy that there's no lesson today! haha..

It has been such a long time since i took a pic with my photo kaki!!

After that, we had a LJ to the Kranji Countryside! Wow.. Had our lunch there and I must say that i can see the changes in SIngapore is so drastic that even farmers now are the new age ones! Stereotype farmers are tanned, skinny old ah peks.. But from what i know, farmers now are graduates.. The new age farmers.. I believe that they will be the ones who will bring agriculture, farming (of any sorts, be it fish or vege) to greater heights.. Their passion can be seen in the farmers i met before and today.. In order to succeed, we need to have PHD.. Passion, Determination and.... Hunger.. Hunger for wat? Hunger to know more, hunger to strive, hunger to succeed.. I agree with him totally.. From what i can see in my vietnamese frenz, they have the hunger for knowledge, the hunger to succeed and that is why they are so willing to learn.. When u have the hunger, passion and determination will follow right behind.. And success, it will come eventually.. I admire the people i see today.. I see them as the ones who are the real successful people, they know what they want and what they are doing.. They have goals.. They are working towards it.. I am happy for them..
As for me, I know what i lack.. I lack hunger.. I lack the hunger to strive.. I am a slacker.. I take each day as it comes.. I am not performing to my best capabilities? (or am i already at my best? Not very sure)..

Sentosa trip

Went Sentosa yesterday for a gathering.. Everyone brought so much food that we really thought we won't be able to finish.. The best part was JJ's bee hoon.. IT's a mountain! That was enough for at least 20 ppl.. I think JJ's mum thinks that everyone eat as much as him! haha.. After eating, most of us is feeling so lethargic.. Esp me.. Hee hee.. When some of them went for a walk by the beach, i was sleeping.. Really piggy of me la.. But the sun and the breeze is really too comfy!!
We should have brought some games there but none of us remembered...
THey were saying that we should have a gathering every month.. So they started to plan for the next month's gathering.. Wow.. THat's fast.. As for me, i will choose not to be the organiser next time round.. Let them decide where they want to go and i'll jus tag along... COOL!! No more brainstorming on my part...

Sensitive PPl

Sometimes, a person can get so sensitive that u will get so fed up with them. In any relationship, be it friendship, love, employee etc, there's a need for trust. If there's no trust, then I don't see the point in saying anything else. If any action u take or word u say, they take it to be you avoiding them or lying to them, what's the point of being friends? If it's so hard for you to believe me, then let's not be friends anymore. I am fine with it. I don't need a friend who don't even trust me!!

I expected more from this show.. The plot is simple but the duration is too long.. But of course, the huskies is the main lead here, they are so lovable!! Cute!!

I was supposed to be marking compos and as usual, entertainment takes first place.. Really wonder when i will change this bad habit of mine.. Haiz.. Anyway, a leopard can't change its spots.. I better go and sleep now.. I need to go back to sch to mark tmr.. Luckily my dear fren is gg back.. If not, i will be so lonely!

Long weekend!
