Back with a.. (sun) burnt skin...

I am back from KRABI! Woohoo!! Guessed i was too busy (lazy) to blog since i came back la.. Gotta go back to sch and attend courses.. Keeping me busy lor..

Anyway, Krabi was fun la.. GG on trips will be fun if you go with the correct ppl lor.. But of cuz, i think i still dun really like places which is too "touristy".. Too expensive and i dun really get to experience the lifestyle..

Day 1 was basically gone as we reached the resort ard 9 plus.. And we just went out for dinner and went back to sleep.. I was too tired after sports day lor..

Eh.. Complex relationships....

Day 2 was spent with JJ complaining abt the coarse sand (as compared to Redang) and he being as dramatic as usual, having his soap opera styled whinings.. Hee.. But luckily we managed to rent a boat for 2000 baht that brings us out to 5 islands.. The 1st island is nothing much until we went snorkelling in the 2nd island.. Wow!!! The sight is simply magnificient! But it's a pity that the water wasn't very clear and Judy was so afraid that she only came down for a while.. After this great sight, nothing else interest me le.. The rest of the island was just so-so.. Maybe the Monkey Island was not bad.. We saw 2 ladies sun bathing - naked.. Wow.. I mean i only saw 1 lady la.. But, this is the first time for me lor!! I tried not to stare la.. It's rude to stare right!? hee..Well.. This day gave us the burnt skin.. Wah.. Pain sia! Should have seen the back of JJ and Shang.. Wah! Super red.. Like a big lobster! hahaha.. For me, i guess it's cuz i am quite used to being burnt la.. So not as bad as them.. At least we manage to go for a Thai massage for 150 baht with pineapples thrown in free.. BUT!! The masseur i had wasn't that good.. It's not that SHIOk! Sadded.. We had buffet dinner after that and too bad la.. I dun tink i ate much.. I was thirsty more than anything else.. Guess it's the way they earn la.. From the drinks..

Day 3. Judy and me are coming back to SG.. So we decided tat we will skip the half day city tour to laze ard at the resort.. I went there to relax anyway.. hee.. So we had a late breakfast and played in the pool.. Wah!! With a burnt skin, i just wished that i could stay in the water (without the sun beating down on me la).. Having a nap after a swim is the best relaxation i can have.. After that is a coconut drink from the poolside bar.. Hmmm... (too bad the coconut i had was an OLD coconut.. Haiz..) After lunch (which is ex too), the rest of them decide to have cup noodles for dinner.. Hahaha.. So they swept snacks and cup noodles from 7-11.. We went back to get our stuff and off we go to the airport.. Judy was so sad that she had to leave..

They kept saying that we must head back to Redang for another holiday.. Though it's a real beautiful place, i tink i would rather try out other beach resorts.. There are so many beaches that we haven't been to.. And hor, we always only go for short trips... I prefer long hols.. More rejuvenating.. Hee..

Wat a week!

Okie.. Family Fun Day's over.. I was half dead last sat after the scorching hot sun breathed down my neck for the whole morning.. Not to mention that bugging headache that followed me on and off till today.. Judy and Vernon came to show their faces (hee.. show support la..) ..
After lunch at Bishan, i went home to take a rest before mtg shang for dinner.. I tried to take a nap but i guess the heat from the sun was too much for my body to take.. I was perspiring even when the fan's blowing.. Shang says it's normal to perspire but feel cold at the feet and hands?? Hmm.. Maybe lor..

I dragged myself to mark 9 compos on sunday..

Monday was not much better.. After lessons, i rushed to MOE for a briefing..
Tues was contact time and i was the minute taker.. Today's meet the parents after school.. IT has been a super long week.. I tink we all worked too hard.. Today during meet the parents, i was quite off focused.. There was a point when i din even know wat was gg on in the conversation.. Hope i din say anything wrong..

ANyway, on tue, my boss popped the qn.. She asked if i was gg to apply for the posting and the reasons... I told her some reasons and she tried to dissuade me from it.. Saying that every place is the same and i am taking a big risk.. Since i am doing so well here, why should i leave? Say that i am a good teacher and capable, tat's why ppl give me the work.. blah blah blah.. She's even willing to offload me and asked me what's the desired workload i want.. But somehow, it's too late.. I am really pissed and TIRED here.. Even if I get the same shit elsewhere, then too bad la.. I will never know until i make the change.. If i am unwilling to make the move, i will be stuck here forever and be very negative (like now).. Though the boss gave me affirmation during CT, it's just a tactic to make me stay.. That will make sure that it wont look too bad on her portfolio..
And anyway, how did the boss know of my decision? Cuz i told someone who have a BIG mouth and told the boss.. And the reason she gave for telling (when i specifically told her to keep her mouth shut!!!) she don't want me to leave!? DUH!!!??

But of cuz, the ppl i will miss are the dear frenz i have... THey are a GREAT bunch of ppl... But then, frenz are frenz forever.. So even if we dun work together, we can still come out for coffee and meals..

Next Monday.. The time for me to check out the steps for the MOVE..

I got MY DRIVING license..

Yeah.. My driving license is here finally! Luckily the photo din turn out that badly as i thot it would..

Multi tasking ME!!

I seem to be like an octopus these days.. List of things to do is at least 10 itmes per day.. And mind you! It din include marking... Seems like as a teacher, the last thing i need to do is marking! Wat kind of work am i doing?? And it doesn't help to know that my class din do well!! Haiz..

1 event this weekend and 1 more next fri.. These 2 school based events not even over, we are already planning for the one in July.. How many events are we running in a year? Are we off focused already?? Where is the focus in the school? Events? Results? Character-building? ALL??

I hope that i am not jumping from 1 ditch to another.. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

Phantom of the Opera

Comparing the 2 musicals, Phantom and Forbidden City, i prefer the latter.. I think it's cuz i understand it better.. Phantom's costumes and sets are nicer but i somehow lost it after the intermission.. And i fell asleep somewhere... hee.. And the good thing abt forbidden city, there's subtitles.. I am a subtitle person.. No matter if it's a chinese or english show..

Now i cant wait for the hols and my trips!!!

I passed~~~!

Yippee~~~ I passed my driving already！！！！！After the first "suay" attempt, i passed it the second time!(Lucky!)

Not that i can afford to buy a car now, but at least i can drive my frenz's cars first!! Hahaha..

Provided that they dun get heart attack after sitting in it with me as the driver.. Hee...
