One of the best show i watched this year.. I dun know why.. Maybe it kinda close to my heart.. Of cuz, i think Hokkien songs are real nice, though sometimes i find them quite "song".. Hee hee.. But when Chen Weilian and Liu Lingling sings, i cried.. Esp WL, his voice is filled with emotions and i will get drawn into his voice and really feel darn sad..

I cried so badly when one of the lead actress sang a song to her mum.. I thot of my mum and I just broke down.. Sorry ah, i guessed i wet your sleeves quite badly.. hee hee...

However, there are a few parts where i find it quite exaggerating and non-understandable.. Hmm..

One of the best movies i ever watched la... "Woo" and "wa" were coming all over the cinema... Hee.. I was very impressed with the transforming la.. And some of the conversations were very comical.. Hee.. Liked the part when the bumble bee changed into a Cher when the gal said he's an old car.. haha.. Anyway, sh said that there were modifications to the original la. But still, the CGs and the sound effects made up for it all.. And of cuz, as it is digital, it's DVD standard on a movie screen.. NICE!!

However, i must say that i have no idea wat the rest of the robots are called lor.. I was still figuring out the names of the bad and good robots (till now).. Hee hee..

I really wont mind watching it again.. Hee hee.. So anyone who is interested and no one goes with u, call me along ba!! hahaha...

Just follow law

Finally watched this movie today.. Hilarious show.. U have to be in the gov body to really understand the system.. I think those arrows look familiar.. Haha..

Anyway, the strongest msg that came out to me was, unless u are in another person body, if not, u will never understand. A very simple philosophy, yet so difficult to exercise..

And the one that struck a chord in my heart was, how Tanya initially think of Fillial Piety.. By giving money to her mum, but ignoring her mum's concern and love for her.. Only when she is in another person's body, she saw her mum's feelings and her mum's love..

Shrek3

Watched Shrek 3 yday with CS after lunch at 日本村. That place serves quite good Jap buffet.. Anyway, watched the movie at Marina.. I tink the show is so-so.. Not so much of highlights and ya, the jokes are quite funny.. Love the Pinocchio who tried to twist and turn his words so as not to lie... How many times do we do that? Haha.. Why do we like this fractured fairy tale so much? Simple reason: Cuz they remind us of ourselves sometimes..
Sometimes,
Aren't we like Pinocchio who tried not to lie by trying to confuse the other party?
Aren't we like Shrek who thinks he's an orge and he can't be king?
Aren't we like the Princesses who waits for the Knights to come and save us when we are in trouble?
Aren't we like Prince Charming, who thinks that the whole world should revolve ard ourselves and we should fight (sometimes despicably) to get whatever we think we deserve and ought to have?
Aren't we like the villians in the fairy tales who actually have good hearts but are blinded by the fact that we are being oppressed and being treated unfairly?

I like Fiona and the Queen, they are brave women.. And they know when to give in, when to take control.. They have this balance and intelligence that ought to be learnt.. Women can be both the leader and follower... Just a matter of whether they know when is the correct time..

Shrek has a character that i adore too.. He knows what he wants.. That's something which i lack... He knows that he can't be king and he's not suited to be one.. So he chooses to seek the next heir.. Though initially he was kinda pushing the responsibility to another "scapegoat", but in the end, he did help the best person who is suited for the job, to be confident and most importantly, willing to take over from him..
From Shrek, i think i have to do the same as him.. Though my job is not as important as a king, but i tink i need to help the next person who is going to handle my job to familiarise with it..

Freedom Writers

This is a true story based on the book "The Freedom Writers". It reminded me the reason why teachers are so important in a child's life. A very touching show.. Should go and watch it when it's still on....

In the end, i manage to watch this show with shang and bk only.. The rest of the gang had already watched it..

As usual, i told shang i will meet him earlier but in the end, i was late (ONCE again)..

The show is good la.. Though the plot is simple but the bodies of the Spartans... Wah! In the beginning, u will keep looking at their bodies one lor.. but in the end, u realise they all look the same.. Haha.. So i concentrated on trying to get the plot (plus their super "difficult to read" names).. It was not that easy as i was also busy reading the subs.. Glorious deaths.. 人死有轻如鸿毛,重如泰山。They truly potrayed this well..

There was this particular part whereby the Spartan King told his soldier to go back and let the 300 Spartans story be told to all.. The soldier asked the King,"... msg for the queen?" At this point, someone's HP actually rang! DUH!! Super accurate timing lor!! I tried so hard to control my laughter.. And shang had to tell me to stop snickering before he burst out laughing...

My Girl

I haven done this for a long time.. Hee hee.. I finished a drama serials in 2 days.. Hahaha.. The show that let me do it again is - my girl! haha.. The characters inside is very typical K-drama.. 4 sided love, contractual siblings that fall in love, even some of the scenes and lines are similar.. But still, it will draw in the crowds to watch it.. For me, i like the main leads.. And i still dun understand how come that Lee Joon-ki can be so feminine.. Hmm.. I wonder if he get teased till he cant take it or not? hee hee.. Some scenes are sweet and touching..

Sometimes, i have very mixed feelings when i watch dramas.. I wish i will know the ending soon but on the other hand, i dun wish for it to end so soon.. Cuz after watching the last ep, i will feel a sense of lose (esp if the show is nice).
Haiz.. Difficult humans..

Another reason why i finished the whole show in 2 days is cuz it's another kind of escapism from troubles that's bogging my mind...

Now i am sleepy, for the past 2 nites, i din sleep... hahaha..

Tmr is another day!!

P.S.: I bought the book - 1 litres of tears.. Then i heard from ice that there's another 1 that's written by the mum.. Haiz.. Need to go and get it from kino again.. But maybe i should finish that book first la.. And i hope JJ can pass me the show soon!! See finish still dun give me!

Helen the Baby Fox

After the ND celebration in school, i went to cineleisure to watch this show with sin.. As usual, i was the one who suggest the show.. Initially i wanted to watch the lake house but then, this show seems like a more interesting show.. So off we went to see this.. Maybe right from the beginning, i knew that the fox will die.. So i am kinda sad and on few occasions, i was close to tears.. I just cant bear to see animals die lor.. Haiz..
With the love and patience the boy gave to the fox, the fox managed to call out and led a fulfilling "long" life.. Instead of jus a short unbearable few days of lifespan, the fox managed to survive for 3 weeks... To see the fox suffering in the end was sad.. When the fox died, i just couldn't control my tears anymore..
Well, i think this is the first time sin saw me cry in the movies.. haha.. He didn't really react much, he said something to me but i couldn't hear him cuz i was busy crying.. oops.. hee hee.. So with that crying, my nose just got more blocked.. haha..
After the show, we went to magic wok for dinner, luckily we managed to get seats fast and the food came fast too.. So we settled our dinner within an hour.. Hee hee... Cuz after the dinner, we went to SEE FIREWORKS!!!
Cool cool.. THe fireworks are so beautiful!!! But we only managed to see the high fireworks as we were just outside the raffles city.. Still, it's fantastic.. THe only thing is when sin said something abt taxpayers' money going up in smoke, i laughed at his statement.. But he REally is a mood spoiler lor!! Such nice fireworks and he said that! Haha..
I would want to watch the sat fireworks too.. I think it'll be very nice too!! Any takers???

Gruesome show..

Yeks.. Watched Final Destination 3 jus now.. Oh my.. Gross siah! Keep watching gross and gory shows this week.. First is Underworld and now this.. Eee...
Anyway, we went to Country Manna and had our lunch.. That place is empty!! And he said it's jus like we booked the whole place.. True la.. But a bit quiet lor and i cant talk or laugh too loudly.. hahaha...
After that we went to get the tickets.. I thot the cinema will be empty but well, seems like a lot of ppl also haven watched this show yet lor.. He said that the director is creative.. haha.. So many ways of dying.. hee hee.. I jus find the whole show bloody and gory.. I even shut my eyes for a few scenes... EEKS...
Hmmm.. but i didn't get my gift today.. Phew.. Luckily he haven buy yet, cuz he didn't drive today (cuz it's so near his hse!!! I am grumbling here...) so i cant leave the gift in his car.. I wont want to carry it ard too la.. Quite Awkward.. I tink he will try to get it the next time.. He has good memory as wat he claimed to be... So i gotta wait again for it.. Hmmm... Maybe it'll be another month before i can see the gift la... Haiz...

wow.. 1 of the best shows i watched in the past 2 months.. A nice romantic flick.. A simple story of 2 simple people who fall into a simple love relationship.. It's just the work of fate that brings 2 persons together.. If u are meant for each other, somehow or rather, u will be together.. Courage, love, forgiveness, trust, humour is wat i learn from the show.. the courage to face the person u love when u did something wrong, forgiving that person u love that she can and will fault again but trust that she will go back to u eventually..

P.s.: actually i am now in a dreamy state cuz it's already almost 3am in the morning and i just finished marking some compos.. so if i seem a bit off, i am off... cuz i dun really understand what i am writing up there.. if u do, good for u!! hee hee.. think ai pei and sharon might be the only ones who know what i am talking abt... hee heee... gg to zzzz now..

PRIDE

昨天刚买了由木村拓哉所主演的Pride，一回到家里，我就迫不及待地开来观赏。果然不负我这么支持SMAP，嘻嘻，这的确是部好片。比起之前的Good Luck，这部也是有关爱与奋斗。日本人果然还是拥有这种气魄啊！只要有心、肯奋斗、肯勇往直前，成功与幸福就在不远处。日剧的魅力就在这里，日剧有鼓舞人心，让人有发奋图强的的功效。里头若有若无的爱情，队友之间的团结实在令人感动。木村所饰演的角色-春，的内心世界非常有趣。和我有类似的地方。
特别喜欢里头的一句台词：有时要放弃Pride, 你也必须要有Pride才能做得到啊！没看过这部戏的人，对不起啦！你们有可能完全不知道我再说什么吧！没关系，你无需了解。Maybe..
其实，我有时候常常在想，木村有时还真是个难理解的人啊！因为太爱SMAP了，所以他们所说的话会让我反复地想，他们真正想说的是什么？木村有时会说一些令人费解的话，或是一些很深奥难懂的话，令其他成员完全不知该如何接话才好。嘻嘻，说来奇怪，也许是因为我和木村有相同的星座吧（生日是11月13号，天蝎座），我发现我们的性格还真是有点相似的地方呢！我也是这样的人啊！在和朋友说话时，我有时会发出一些言论，但我常常不知该如何启齿或是完全词不达意，心里常常想，我该怎么说才能让他们明白我的话呢？但是，最近的我在想，我还是不要再在朋友面前说一些太过奇怪的言论吧。最近的我，太悲观了，有点愤世嫉俗了。
