团圆饭

什么是团圆饭？

那是一家人开开心心地在饭桌前吃着一顿美味的佳肴...

饭后，一家人坐在客厅里天南地北地聊着，也许看看电视。

一家人有说有笑地。

那是一份简单、平凡的快乐，但是这只仅限于别人的家庭。

团圆饭已失去了它应有的意义了。

没有意义的东西，为什么还要勉强地保留着呢？

为什么要那么辛苦呢？这又何苦呢？

My Camera is back with a VENGENCE!! MUahaha..

Hahaha.. My camera's back! Yippeee... Luckily my brother in law is free to go down to anson road for me.. If not, with that opening hours of NIkon, I think i can't even get my camera before CNY! Anyway, I brought my camera to school and took pics already! haha.. But of course, with me and jo so busy with the CNY celebration, we din really take a lot of pics until the end of the day.. haiz.. so sad..

Anyway, the day has ended.. Post mortem of the show we put up, both Jo and me thinks that we didn't do very well for the presentation today.. The kids wasn't paying attention, they didn't respond very well, PA system sucks, either one of us forgetting to click the PowerPoint slides for either party. Haiz.. Jo said that she felt like throwing the mike and walk off... I had the same feeling too lor.. We both felt like fools at that point of time..

I M A BIG BLUR SOTONG!!! Make myself so busy today!!

My day started with me bringing my dad for his checkup at SGH in the morning.. In the train, I received a msg from Shirley saying tat she wanted to meet me in the afternoon.. Somehow, I thot she meant mtg tmr.. So i was happily confirming the time with her..
After the checkup, I wanted to donate blood at HSA but there was too many ppl so i decided to book a date and ask more ppl to come with me after CNY!! Haha.. So i told Jiahui that we will meet at Mount Alvernia to visit Ping and her newborn.. So i took a cab down to Mount Alvernia.. Saw Ping and the baby.. Oh.. How adorable and angelic she is.. CUte.. I only stayed in the room for less than 5 mins when Jiayi told me to go for lunch with them.. Haiz.. Then while on the way to AMK, Shirley msged me and told me that she's 1 stop away from Dolby Ghuat!!!! WAT!!??? Why is she on the way there??!!! Argh.. Reason being, I was supposed to meet her today, not tmr!! OOPS!! Yaya.. I became the laughing stock lor.. So i rushed down from AMK to PS again.. 1 big round!
Well, obviously i was laughed at by Shir lah.. wat else? After lunch, we went shop shop ard for her niece's present.. Wah.. Kids these days, pencil case also must be branded.. Roxy.. Wow.. Sad to say, we got to travel to city link to get that specific pencil case cuz Heeren had no more stock..
Well, at this point of time, i was still trying to confirm the time to meet up with sin.. Oh my.. When he said 8pm, i was like, okie.. that's a good timing, i can still walk ard with Shir.. Cuz i felt quite bad leaving her so early.. She introduced me to a place to drink tea.. Oh my goodness!! That place is super expensive!! The V Tea Place at Esplanade..When u order a slice of cake, they will intro u to the tea that goes well with it.. Well, I m not a tea person.. Din really taste the diff.. But the cake is special with beer.. Ahem.. BTW, that slice of cake cost $15 and that pot of tea cost $17 plus.. So our bill came up to abt $50 plus.. Gulpz.. Well, I have a discount voucher for that place, if u are interested, u can get it from me.. haha.. Shir will be coming tmr to my place to look at my photo albums and dl songs from my cds to her laptop.. Clever gal huh!!
Ok.. Last person to meet for today is sin.. Haiz.. Got to return him the money for the YEP.. Yaya, why so late then i pay him?? It's not my fault.. Blame him!! Well, I really must thank him for driving... I m dead tired from all the travelling!! Super super tired!! I was so elated when he told me to meet him at the taxi stand at AMK!! The dinner was good.. And we went to Bliss after dinner.. I asked Judy to join us but she didn't la.. Tink she wanna go Vernon's hse and rot! haha.. Anyway, sin, thanks for the advice and support.. I tink i really need these now..

Ok.. This is how i spent my Sat!! I m supposed to mark my books lor!! Oh my!!! So how much marking did i do today??!! NIL!!! ARGH!! Gotta do it fast tmr morn before Shir comes.. ARGH!! And from the looks of it, I wont be able to go down for training tmr evening again.. Oh no.. Shang's gonna start grumbling again.. OOPS.. haha.. Okie.. Will try to make it for the Thurs one!! I will try my best!!! ~~KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED!~~

Decided to escape from sch!!

haha.. today is friday and i will be meeting Liyan today!! Yippee.. Actually i was jus wondering if i can make it for the appointment at 5.30.. Haiz.. With my record, i think going home to change and bathe is quite impossible! However, haha.. Lucily sharon decided to go home at 4pm.. I hitched a ride from her and lugged all my markings home!! Yippee..
Managed to bathe and catch a cab down to orchard.. Went for sushi tei at taka and i introduced all the good food to Liyan.. Glad that she liked the food there.. I simply enjoy talking to her.. We even took a lot of pics and when Eric came, he helped us to take some nice nice pics.. Really missed the time we had in NIE.. I miss u, LIYAN!! Love yr laughter and silly jokes.. haha..
I was so tempted to go home in a cab but i told myself that i must save money lah.. So I walked to NEL.. Guess who i met! AIPEI!! And she of all things, must scream "MINMIN" in the packed cabin! SO PAI SEH!! But well, i wasn't that soft either lah.. Hee hee.. Well, from the look in her eyes, i know what she wanna say! haha.. My top is too low cut.. She was laughing and giving that look! haha.. Well, she says she will write something in her blog regarding my top.. Haha.. Guess i know wat she wanna say le lah..

Zhicong's Wedding

My secondary classmate got married yesterday!! He's the first one in my group to get married.. Well, the rest of them are getting married or ROM soon la.. haiz.. Not like me, 八字的那一撇都还没开始写呢！haha.. But yesterday was fun lah.. First thing I did was to write a script (in mandarin) for Zhicong to read out during the dinner.. Hee hee.. I tried to write very mushy stuff la, but as hard as i try, there's a limit.. CUz i can't take it also.. haha..

Alvin wanted me to be his emcee for his wedding too!! Oh my! I told them to leave me to eat wedding dinner in peace!! But anyway, i think if they ask, I dun think i can decline to help..

我的相机坏了！昨天，我突然发现相继完全不能开了！啊！我的天啊！怎么会这样呢？我特地买了另一个电池，结果还是一样！完了！我必须把相机拿到红山那一带修理啊！

First Day Of School

Well, this is the first yr in OLGC that i am in morning session!! WOw.. i am so happy.. Michelle asked me if i am always so perky in the morning.. well, i m happy that i am in morning session!! I can't stand floating... Argh.. So i m thankful that i am off the hook this year! haha.. Anyway, today is a mad frenzy.. I am always feeling lost.. hmm.. let's hope the days will get better as the days pass..
Today I was supposed to meet Zhicong and Alvin at 3pm to discuss the wedding this Sunday. However, i had to postpone the time to 4.30pm.. Haiz.. But guess what, i only manage to leave school at 4.40pm.. GREAT! I am super late! Haha.. Luckily these 2 fellows didn't kill me.. OopS..

It's interesting to hear how they feel about their relationship with their other one. Zhicong was saying that as the girl upgrade the status from fren to girlfriend to wife, the expectations upgraded too, just like a package. However, the guy will not be able to meet up with the expectations and then the girl will say that he don't love her as much as before or she will start to complain about the difference.. It is like jumping high jump, once u cross a certain height, the girl will start to raise the pole and it gets higher and higher till one day, the guy will not be able to jump over.. Interesting analogy..
Alvin said this, " I might be super, i am a man, BUT, I am not SUPERMAN!" haha..
I presented my own theory, woman and man have different expectations and are on different grounds once they are married.. During courtship, woman and man base their relationship on LOVE.. After marriage, woman still base the relationship on LOVE, however, man base it on RESPONSIBILTY.. This is where they start to have disagreement and wives start to complain..
I enjoyed talking to them, it's good to know how the man feels when they are in a relationship and cuz i am not their other part, i find their theories and insights funny and interesting. Haha..

There are alot of books and GURUs telling us all about Love and relationship between man and woman.. However, there is no right and wrong answers.. HUMANS.. we are just PLAIN IRRITATING.. We can't get what we want and we will start to complain..

A new Year, A new Beginning??

Well.. I don't think so.. I think a new beginning can happen anytime and anywhere.. Not neccessarily be done in a nEw year.. For me, I don't have any new year resolution.. Cuz i don't believe in it.. I will not keep to the resolution.. hee hee.. So i will set targets along the way of my life but still keep the options open and mind flexible.. Good and bad i will say.. Good that i will be flexible and adapt to changes but bad in the sense that i might change too often that i will lose focus on what i am doing. This year will be a challenging year and i do hope i can do my work well and good.. I will try my best to be more "on" and hardworking rather than sitting on stuff.. haha.. that's the reason why i am at home now.. I had to complete an online course and i HAD completed it.. I guess.. haha.. ANyway, the next 2 things on my list is typing out the NE targets and lessonplan for this week.. I will do it right after this entry.. I will do it!!

SKF Dinner

Went for the SKF dinner on the 30th, saw alot of old karate-ka frenz at the dinner.. And as usual, Ice, Judy and me are the ones moving ard and saying hi to senseis and members of the other karate clubs. So sad that Jiajun had to sit with the SKF squad and not with us.. But luckily, he did come over alot of times and we took lots of pics with him too.. I enjoyed the dinner so much.. Makes me feel that i am back to the good old days when i trained karate..

They invited James Wong and we took pictures with him.. He's very friendly and very TALL!! Just like JJ and shang.. When we took pics with him, we can't even block him and JJ at all!! haha..

Sensei Chia is looking better and more handsome now.. Seems like retirement from school is doing him lots of good!! haha..

After the dinner, Jiajun, Terence, judy, ice and me went to serangoon gardens to have some coffee.. Jackie and 师姐 joined us too.. We talked till 2am in the morning before going home. haha.. poor Ice.. She gotta send JJ, Terence and Judy home first..
